Tuesday Update


We are now into our annual January thaw, according to a radio report today they are common. In fact only one year, back in 1977 we did not have one.

Here is a statement from EC on today's temperatures around the province.

Here in Halifax we started off the day with heavy fog which burned off late morning into a beautiful sunny afternoon. The fog this morning caused numerous delays at the Halifax airport.

Looks like the mild temperatures will be with us til Sunday with unsettled weather.

Wednesday Mild with showers
Thursday Showers overnight then clearing. Cooler in the morning with temperatures rising in the evening.
Friday Once again mild with rain beginning in the afternoon.
Saturday Rain overnight then clearing and mild.
Sunday Clear and cooler
Monday Cooler, gfs shows clear skies with a system well off the coast. Euro and Can Glb have system closer to land with snow.
Tuesday Clear and cool.
